How companies could use CorpHands

Four illustrative scenarios based on common situations in the UK. They are examples, not customer stories: the companies and figures are invented to show how the product works.

Illustrative examples. These are not real customers, and the numbers are for illustration only.
Illustrative example

A retail group's Volunteers' Week

A retail group with 2,000 staff across the UK wants more people to join its Volunteers' Week than last year's email sign-up managed.

  • Creates a campaign from the Volunteers' Week template with an hours goal
  • Publishes food bank shifts and park clean-ups near each store and notifies everyone
  • Staff join from their phones; waitlists fill cancellations
  • QR check-in at each site; hours approve automatically
  • After the week, the campaign page shows hours against the goal

A supplier's social value evidence

A facilities supplier has won a central government contract with social value commitments under PPN 002, and has to report delivery to the buyer during the contract.

  • Creates a campaign for the contract and links every activity delivered under it
  • Sets the UK region on each activity
  • Approves hours as usual, with partner sign-off
  • Filters Giving and social value by the campaign: community engagement activities, hours, volunteers and people helped, with hours by region
  • Downloads the CSV and copies the figures into the buyer's reporting template

A bank's skills-based volunteering

  • Hours are logged over several sessions with evidence
  • Employees earn the Skills mentor badge
  • Reports show hours by category, including skills-based work
