How companies could use CorpHands

Four illustrative scenarios based on common situations in Ireland. They are examples, not customer stories: the companies and figures are invented to show how the product works.

Illustrative examples. These are not real customers, and the numbers are for illustration only.
Illustrative example

A retail group's National Volunteering Week

A retail group with 1,500 staff across Ireland wants more people to join National Volunteering Week than last year's email sign-up managed.

  • Creates a campaign from the National Volunteering Week template with an hours goal
  • Publishes food appeal shifts and river clean-ups near each store and notifies everyone
  • Staff join from their phones; waitlists fill cancellations
  • QR check-in at each site; hours approve automatically
  • After the week, the campaign page shows hours against the goal

A company's donations at year end

A company gives to a dozen charities through the year and wants its tax adviser to have the deductible donations, with the reasons for any exceptions, before the return is due.

  • Records each charity's RCN and CHY number, with the date the CHY authorisation runs to
  • Marks every payment as a donation or sponsorship, cash or in-kind
  • Sets the fiscal year to match the accounting period
  • Opens Giving and reporting: deductible donations by charity, and charities to check with the reason
  • Downloads the CSV for the adviser and the Ireland report pack for the annual report
