Seasonal drives people actually join

Volunteers' Week in June, Trustees' Week in November and Christmas giving and December appeals: much of the community calendar is seasonal. CorpHands turns each season into a campaign with a goal and a clear picture of progress.

A Volunteers' Week campaign

How a campaign runs in CorpHands

1

Create the campaign

Start from the Volunteers' Week template: the dates (1–7 June), an hours goal and three suggested activities are filled in.

2

Add activities

A team challenge with a local charity, a skills clinic for charity staff and a thank-you event for your volunteers, each with its UK region.

3

Fill the places

Every employee is notified by email; joiners get a calendar invite; waitlists fill cancelled places.

4

Show progress

The campaign page shows approved hours against the goal, the number of activities and people helped.

Logistics

Nothing forgotten on the day

Each activity carries its own checklist: transport, T-shirts, safety briefing, waiver forms, food and water, photo consent. The CSR team ticks items off as they're done.

CorpHands organises volunteering and records your company's own donations. It does not collect money from the public or from employees, and it does not run Payroll Giving or claim Gift Aid: if your campaign includes giving, your company pays the charity directly.
