Nepal CSR pack

What it is

At year end, the same figures go into several places: the CSR expenditure report for industries, the reports banks keep for Nepal Rastra Bank, and the CSR disclosure in your annual report and audit report. The Nepal CSR pack takes your CorpHands data for a fiscal year and lays it out as an Excel (XLSX) or CSV file you can check and copy from.

CorpHands prepares data only. It does not send anything to a ministry, Nepal Rastra Bank or the Insurance Authority, and the pack is not an official form. The CSR fund page also has a CSV statement for your auditor. Confirm every figure with your auditor before you report.

What you can use it for

• CSR fund: last year's net profit, the 1% fund, what was carried forward, what was spent and what is left.
• Provinces: spending in each of the seven provinces, against the 10% line that applies to commercial banks and national-level institutions.
• CSR programmes: each programme with its CSR area, who runs it (the company or an organisation), province, district, budget, spending, beneficiaries and the % in extreme poverty.
• Indicators: the Nepal CSR and GRI rows.
• Impact, NGO partners and Activities & evidence: impact metrics, your partners and each activity with approved hours and partner sign-off.

How to do it

Download the pack

1. Choose the yearGo to CSR workspace → ESG report, select the fiscal year (for example FY 2083/84) and choose View.
2. Find the packScroll to Authority report packs. Companies in Nepal see the Nepal CSR pack.
3. DownloadChoose XLSX or CSV.
4. ReviewCheck the figures with your finance team and auditor, then use them in your CSR report and annual report.

Get the CSR statement on its own

1. Open CSR fundGo to CSR workspace → CSR fund.
2. DownloadChoose Download CSR statement (CSV).

Tips and good practice

• Fill in each programme's CSR details (CSR area, province, district, affected area, beneficiaries and % in extreme poverty) during the year. The CSR fund page warns about spending without a CSR area or province.
• Employee volunteering is not CSR spending. Volunteer hours appear in the other sheets for your annual report and GRI 413.
• Every pack download is recorded in the audit log.
