What it is
The perks card is a thank-you for people who volunteer. Local businesses such as cafés, gyms or opticians offer a discount, and employees with confirmed volunteer hours in the last 12 months show a QR card at the counter to use it.
The QR code refreshes every minute, so screenshots don't work. When staff scan it, they see only the volunteer's first name, the company and whether the card is active, never hours, contact details or anything else.
Discounts are funded by the partner businesses, never by donations. Partners are recognised as Community Partners in your report.
What you can use it for
- Reward active volunteers without spending the CSR budget
- Build relationships with local businesses near your offices
- Limit how often each person can use an offer each month
- Run time-limited offers with an end date
- See which partners and offers are used most
How to do it

- Add the partnerGo to CSR workspace → Perks partners and tap Add partner. Enter the name, category and contact. A 6-digit staff PIN is created automatically.
- Add offersOpen the partner and use Add offer: the offer, its terms, Uses per employee per month (leave empty for no limit) and Valid until.
- Brief the partner's staffUnder Staff access, use Show staff PIN and share it only with the partner's staff. Use Create a new PIN if it leaks; the old one stops working at once.

Tips and good practice
- The Starter plan includes up to 5 perks partners; Business and Enterprise are unlimited.
- Set a monthly use limit on generous offers to keep them sustainable for the partner.
- After five wrong PINs for a card, further attempts are blocked for 15 minutes.
- Mark a partner inactive instead of deleting it if the arrangement is paused.
Questions
Why does my card say it isn't active?
The card needs confirmed volunteer hours in the last 12 months. Join an activity and, once your hours are approved, it activates.
What does the shop see about me?
Only your first name, your company and whether the card is valid.
Can I screenshot the card?
It won't work. The code expires after about two minutes.
Does CorpHands handle payment?
No. The partner gives the discount at their till. No money passes through CorpHands.
