How we think about doing good well

Community work depends on trust: from employees, from NGOs, from the people they help, and from regulators. These principles shape every feature we build.

1. Money never passes through us

CorpHands is software. Your company pays registered NGOs directly through their approved channels, and CorpHands records the receipt. We will not add features that collect or hold donations.

2. Consent comes first

People who receive help have a right to dignity. Photos of beneficiaries stay private until consent is recorded, and we discourage using beneficiaries' images to promote giving.

3. Privacy by default

Leaderboards are opt-in. Managers see only their own team. Merchants see only a first name. We record community work, never work activity, and we never track where people are.

4. Plain language

Every screen, email and export uses short, plain sentences, so a busy manager understands it the first time. Hindi is planned.

5. Honest numbers

Only approved records count. Beneficiary numbers come from activity records, not guesses. Report references are labelled as indicative, and we say clearly what is estimated.

6. Registered partners only

Requests can't be approved, and payments can't be recorded, for NGOs whose required registrations are missing or expired. Good intentions are not a substitute for proper records.

These principles describe how CorpHands is designed. They are not legal advice. Each company remains responsible for following the laws of the countries where it works.
