What it is

After an activity, CorpHands asks how it went. On Home you see a short card for your most recent attended activity: a rating from 1 to 5, an optional comment for the organisers, and whether you would join again. The CSR team sees the average rating and comments for each activity.

You can also share your photos. On the page of an activity you took part in, Add photos lets you send up to five pictures at a time with a caption. CorpHands asks two questions first: do the photos show people who received help (beneficiaries), and if so, did they agree to be photographed?

Nothing goes public automatically. Your photos wait under Waiting for review until the CSR team approves them for the photo library. Photos that show beneficiaries stay hidden from staff until consent is recorded, in line with the rules on images of beneficiaries in the Gulf.

What you can use it for

  • Tell organisers what worked and what didn't
  • Share the best moments of an activity with your CSR team
  • Give the team photos for stories, reports and next year's campaign
  • Track the share of volunteers who would join again
  • Make sure no photo of beneficiaries is shown without consent

Tips and good practice

  • Ask permission before photographing people the charity supports, especially children.
  • Choose "I'm not sure" if you didn't ask. The photo stays hidden until the CSR team records consent.
  • The feedback card only appears for activities where you were recorded as attending.
  • Comments are shown to the CSR team with your name, so be specific and constructive.

Questions

Who sees my photos?

Only the CSR team until they approve them. After approval they are in the company's photo library, and may be used in impact stories if the consent status allows it.

Can I change my rating?

No. One rating is kept per person per activity.

Why can't I add photos to an activity?

You can add photos only to activities you took part in, once they have started.

Does CorpHands give legal advice on image consent?

No. It records consent and blocks use of beneficiary photos without it. Check your own legal obligations.
