What it is
At the bottom of the ESG report page, the Report text draft card writes the “Community investment and employee volunteering” paragraph for you, in English and in Arabic. The Arabic is written as natural business Arabic, not a word-for-word translation.
The AI writer is optional. It uses Anthropic's Claude API only when your server administrator has added an AI key. Without a key, the button reads Draft text and CorpHands writes the paragraph from a built-in template. If the AI service fails, CorpHands also falls back to the template.
Either way, the result is a draft. It is not saved by CorpHands, and you should review and edit it before it goes into any published report.

Draft and use the text
- Choose the yearOn CSR workspace → ESG report, select the reporting year and choose View.
- Create the draftIn Report text draft, choose Draft with AI (or Draft text when no AI key is set up).
- EditBoth texts appear in editable boxes, English and Arabic. Correct anything that does not match how your company speaks.
- Copy or add to the board summaryUse Copy to paste into your report, or Add to board summary to show it in the Printable report. The board summary text is kept in this browser only.
Tips and good practice
- Check every number in the draft against the indicator table above it.
- The draft states amounts in Kuwaiti dinars. If your company reports in another currency, correct the currency in the text.
- The text is not stored on the server. Copy it into your report document before you leave the page.
- Each draft request is written to the audit log (action
report.draft), with whether the AI or the template wrote it.
Questions
What data is sent to the AI service?
Only aggregated figures: your company name in English and Arabic, the year, total hours, number of volunteers, participation rate, employee count, activities, licensed charity partners, people helped, cash and in-kind investment, estimated value of volunteer time, average rating, leave days used, a few previous-year totals, focus-area categories and SDG numbers. No employee names, emails or other personal data are sent.
Who provides the AI?
Anthropic's Claude API, called from your CorpHands server only when the administrator sets the key. The Settings page shows whether the AI report writer is connected.
Can I turn it off?
Yes. Without an AI key, CorpHands uses the built-in template and sends nothing to an AI service.
Is the text guaranteed to be correct?
No. The writer is told to use only your figures and avoid superlatives, but you must review it. It is a draft, not approved disclosure text.
