What it is

The charity directory is your company's list of approved partners. For each charity you record the licence number, licensing authority, licence expiry and verification status, plus contact details, areas of work and documents such as the licence copy and agreements.

In the GCC, companies are expected to give only to licensed bodies. «CorpHands» uses the licence status everywhere: requests cannot be approved for a charity without a valid licence, activities warn you about unverified or expired partners, and you get alerts before a licence runs out. «CorpHands» helps you keep records; it does not check licences with the authority for you and is not legal advice.

What you can use it for

  • Record each partner's licence number, authority (for example the Ministry of Social Affairs) and expiry date.
  • See which licences have expired or expire within 30 days, and email the list to the CSR admins.
  • Store the licence copy, agreements and other documents, each with its own expiry date.
  • See the activities and recorded donations for each charity on one page.
  • Invite charity staff to the partner portal to confirm attendance, upload photo proof and sign off activities.

Tips and good practice

  • When the list shows a licence alert, click Email me the list to send the expiring and expired licences to all CSR admins. Your technical team can also schedule this email.
  • Requests from a charity whose licence has expired can't be approved until you record the renewed licence, and its page shows a warning.
  • Charities created from a request start as Pending verification. Check the licence and upload the copy before approving money.
  • On Starter, the directory holds up to 10 charities, including those added from requests. Business and Enterprise have no limit.

Questions

Does «CorpHands» verify licences with the ministry?

No. You check the original licence and record the result. «CorpHands» tracks the dates and warns you.

What does Government body mean?

Use it for government entities. They have no expiry check and can receive approved requests.

Can a partner portal user see other charities?

No. Each partner user belongs to one charity and only sees activities your company runs with that charity.

Who can edit the directory?

Owners and admins. Auditors can view it. Coordinators do not have access.
