What it is

The partner portal gives the charities you work with a simple, separate place to confirm what happened at the activities you run together. They do not need a CorpHands account or a password: they sign in with a link sent to their email.

Figures confirmed by the charity carry more weight than self-reported numbers. Your ESG report shows which impact values are partner-verified, which helps when auditors, the board or a regulator ask how you know.

What you can use it for

  • Ask a charity to confirm which volunteers attended an activity.
  • Let the charity record results against your impact metrics, such as meals served or trees planted.
  • Collect photo proof from the charity, kept internal to your company.
  • Get a named sign-off that locks attendance and results for the activity.
  • See the share of partner-verified impact in your reports.

How to do it

Add partner portal users (CSR admin)

  1. Open the charityGo to CSR workspace → Charities and open the charity.
  2. Add and inviteUnder Partner portal users, enter the person's name and email and select Add and invite. They receive a bilingual email with a sign-in link.
  3. Manage accessUse Resend link if needed, or deactivate a partner user who no longer works with you.

Ask the charity to confirm an activity

  1. Link the charityMake sure the activity is linked to the charity.
  2. Send the requestAfter the activity has started, open it and, under Impact & partner verification, select Send to partner for confirmation. Every active partner user of that charity gets an email that opens the activity.

Confirm and sign off (charity staff)

  1. Sign inOpen the link in the email, or go to /partner and select Email me a sign-in link. Links work once and expire after 30 minutes.
  2. Confirm and recordOpen the activity under Needs your confirmation. Tick attendees in Confirm attendance, enter results in Record results, and add photos under Photo proof.
  3. Sign offType your full name, tick I confirm this activity took place as recorded. and select Sign off activity. Values are then locked.

Tips and good practice

  • Confirming attendance does not create or approve volunteer hours. Hours still follow your normal approval process.
  • Photos the charity marks as showing beneficiaries are saved as Consent missing and stay internal until you record consent.
  • A partner user sees only activities that your company runs with their own charity, nothing else.
  • Partners can confirm an activity only once it has started, and cannot change anything after sign-off.
  • Photos partners add arrive in CSR workspace → Photos → Waiting for review; approve them before they join your library.

Questions

What does the sign-off record?

The signer's name, the time, the number of attendees confirmed, the results, the statement, and the IP address and browser. CorpHands stores a fingerprint (hash) of the signed content, and the sign-off is written to the audit log.

Does the charity need to pay or install anything?

No. The portal works in any browser, in English and Arabic, and costs the charity nothing.

The partner didn't receive the email. What now?

Check the email address on the charity page and select Resend link. For privacy, the sign-in form always shows the same message whether or not the email belongs to a partner.

Do donations go through the portal?

No. CorpHands never handles money. Your company pays charities directly.
