A new community garden for Kirkstall

Thirty colleagues from Facilities Operations, Engineering and Finance spent a day in Kirkstall Valley with Aire Valley Food Network. They built twelve raised beds, cleared 64 bags of litter from the riverside path and planted 200 hedging plants. The garden will grow fresh vegetables for the food network's community kitchen. "I've driven past this spot every day for six years and never stopped," said one volunteer.
