78 sacks of waste out of the Bagmati at Teku

Forty-two colleagues from branches across the valley spent a Saturday morning on the Bagmati river bank at Teku with Prakriti Samrakshan Manch. Together they collected 78 sacks of waste, most of it plastic bags and bottles, and planted 150 saplings along the bank. The ward office will keep the area clean with weekly collections. "It was the first time I met colleagues from Credit and Risk outside a meeting," said one volunteer.
